Just a short update regarding the Kis-My-MiNT Tour DVD to be released on June 20th.

The official website updated a few days ago with new lengths for the DVDs, so now the concert DVD is about 138 minutes long and the extra DVD is now about 44 minutes long! :D

Furthermore, today the jacket for the DVD has been released. You can check it out on the official website here

It was just announced by Oricon that Tamamori Yuta will be participating in the "Ougon Densetsu" challenge. This challenge requires participants to live for one month with a budget of just 10,000 Yen (roughly US$124 or €97).

The challenge is part of a TV Show on TV Asahi called "Ikinari! Ougon Densetsu" which is aired every week at 7pm, starting May 31st. Aside from Tamamori two other people will participate, Gyaru Sone and Takahashi from the comedy duo Savanna. The three will be competing against each other. In the end the winner is decided by checking whether the challenger was successful or not. In case all or two are successful, the remaining amount of money is counted. Whoever has the most money left at the end of the month wins.

It's not directly related to the boys but I thought I'd put this information up anyways. A report came in today about a truck loaded with equipment for Kis-My-Ft2's concert tour catching fire on a highway (as it was coming back from Hiroshima).

Fans were worried whether anything important had been burned and whether the tour would proceed (the shows in Hokkaido are still coming up after all). The agency reassured worried fans that only lighting equipment had been damaged in the fire and the tour would proceed normally without problems. Nobody was hurt, the driver of the truck was safe.

more an accurate summary than a translation:

Kis-My-Ft2’s Fujigaya Taisuke will be the main character for the new drama “Beginners!”, that will air on TBS every Thursday at 9 pm (golden time) this summer. The heroine will be actress Goriki Ayame. Kis-My-Ft2’s Kitayama Hiromitsu will also be part of the cast.

The drama is set in an elite police school with strict rules such as no dating, no mobile phones, no personal conversations between students. Fujigaya’s character is a former biker with a strong sense of justice that aims to become a policeman.

Fujigaya’s comment: “I want to make this drama a lively, passionate work. I want to become everyone’s policeman hero. I will keep on running without stopping.”

Kitayama's comment: "I want to act so that something remains in the hearts of the viewers."
