I've apparently been super bad at crossposting translations on the community. Most are old, except for the first one, so excuse me if you've already read most of these.

Translation. First, members talk about equations - (member) x (something) = smile, (member) x winter = (something), and (member) x (something) = ??? (unknown). Then, because duet is entering its 30th year since its first issue, KisuMai members look back on their history with duet through a crosstalk!

( Duet December 2015 - The one where Miyata’s butt was published in...was duet, right? )

Fanclub booklets translations.

( Vol.12 - I’ll grow taller! )

( Vol.13 - If you were a girl, what kind of fashion do you want to try? )

( Vol.14 - I think people who have played the guitar before would understand, but I almost gave up when I got to the F chord (laughs). )

TV magazine articles.

( TVfan October 2012 - Miyata x Tamamori - You’re the worst. )

( TV Guide 2013.05.31, 2013.06.21, 2013.06.28, 2013.07.05. - As for all the fans, since it’s summer, how about coming in swimsuits? )

( TV Guide 2013.07.12, 2013.07.26, 2013.08.02 - It’s fun to see everyone’s sense of humour through their uchiwas. )

( TVfan May 2015 - It’s been a while since I’ve seen Senga so excited. )

( TVfan June 2015 - I’ve been storing energy up until now, so from hereon, I’ll get 1st places one after the other! )

( TVfan September 2015 - There are no Johnnys who have loincloths wrapped around them though? )

( TVfan October 2015 - A very strong hip hop style. People would wonder what happened in those 13 years (laughs). )

Sorry for being a bit behind with updates lately! This post is going to be a summary of a whole bunch of news.

First of all, KisuMai has successfully finished their concert tour this year, and they have announced that it will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 20th of next year. There will be three editions - Limited DVD edition, Regular DVD edition, and Blu-ray edition. All have lots of backstage/extra footage, so I'm not going to bother translating everything in detail, but if I have to just put out a short description for each…

LE DVD - backstage documentary, units/solo backstage documentary/corners etc.
RE DVD - audio commentary and more (to be announced later)
Blu-ray - multi-angle stuff, MC and fairy corner of all shows, plus footage from tour finale in Nagoya (the concert was filmed during the last Tokyo show).

KisuMai dressed up in costumes during double encore during the final show since Halloween is soon. Hopefully we'll get to see that on the Blu-ray!

Then, drama news (only what's officially announced...).

I didn't get to mention it, but Kitayama had a brief appearance in Katori Shingo's special drama, Issenchou Yen no Minoshirokin that aired almost two weeks ago.

Miyata also has a drama confirmed! He will be appearing in Kozure Shinbee, which will be airing on NHK every Friday at 20:00, starting November 13th. It will be six episodes long. It is Miyata's first appearance in a historical/periodical drama.

I said in the October schedule post that Nakai Masahiro will have a new music show to replace UTAGE! and two episodes have aired so far. The format of the show is that there will be a music guest as well as several talk guests Nakai will interact with. KisuMai was the music guest for the first episode. Senga was part of the talk guests in the second episode, and Miyata will be in the third episode. It is likely that Busaiku members will be appearing quite regularly as a talk guest, but they're not officially announced as regulars from what I know.

Tamamori has a lot of promotion going on right now, for both his drama and upcoming movie, so please keep your eye out on the monthly schedules if you want to know what magazines/shows he'll be appearing in. His movie also has a collaboration campaign with Spa Resort Hawaiians, located in Fukushima Prefecture. You can find the details on J-Net, if interested.

Ah, a new, longer preview for Nobunaga Concerto movie is also out, so if you're interested, you can watch it on the movie's official website.

Hopefully I didn't forget any other major news!

Schedule - Kis-My-Ft2 - October 2015
(airing dates, releases dates, etc)

1. If you haven't heard already, KisuMai has added Nagoya shows to their tour, so that's at the end of October.

2. UTAGE! has officially ended. Nakai Masahiro has mentioned on his own radio show that he will be MC-ing for a new music show, but there's no other information about it. We don't know what format it will be and if there will be other regulars in it.

3. Yokoo now has a show where he has a solo regular appearance! It is Petto no Oukoku Wonderland, which he has previously guested in. It is unknown whether he will get to appear every week, but for now, I've put it in the schedule on a weekly basis. He appears in the studio too, so he is on the show weekly.

4. KisuMai GAME has ended and will be replaced by KisuMai Magic.

A few days ago, Kitayama was spotted filming for a drama.

We now have official information that Kitayama will be appearing in FujiTV's new drama, "Siren". It will start airing on October 20th, at 22:00.

The drama is based on a manga, but Kitayama's role is a drama original. He will be playing Hayami Sho (assuming the name doesn't use a less common reading), a rival police detective to the main character (Satomi Shinobu), which is played by Matsuzaka Toori. Hayami's not a particularly well-liked person apparently, and gets called "chibi deka (small police detective)" behind his back.

Kitayama comments, "Even if my height is short, I can appear in dramas. It'd be nice if I can be a ray of hope to my kouhais." (Matsuzaka Toori is 183cm tall.)

Hi, I tried to translate the latest episode of Kisumai Radio that aired on 09/02. I always listen to Kisumai Radio but this time thought I'd give a go on translating, since the episode was quite interesting.
It might not be perfect since my Japanese is not that skillful but I'm trying the best I can to translate each sentence. Please correct me if I made any mistakes.

This episode's hosts are Kitayama and Tamamori, by chance my 2 fave members :)

Dream Boys talk: the rivalry between Kisumai cast and Nakayama Yuma cast. Tamamori's an-an photo shoot and Mitsu is imagining if he was the one doing the shoots.

Sorry about the lateness of the news, but I'm making a post so that the information is here on the community as well.

Previously, it was announced that KisuMai will release two singles in a row and the song for the November single was revealed, but now, we have information about the October release as well!

The lead song for the October single is AAO, written by Naoto Inti Raymi. Some of you may remember him being a talk guest on Kitayama's J'J show (backpacking across India), or playing futsal on Nakai's team in his year-end sports variety show. It will be released on October 14th.

The details for the editions are the following.

3 editionsCollapse )

A new campaign for Nuku Nuku Touban (kairo/disposable heating pads) has started and KisuMai continue to endorse them, so we'll probably get a new CM and a song for it soon. Maybe the song will be released as a B-side in one of the upcoming singles.

This information came a month ago officially from the agency, and we had information about it even earlier, but Nobunaga Concerto is getting a movie sequel and Fujigaya is confirmed to be appearing in it. THe movie will be released on screens on January 23rd. About three days ago, we saw previews of the movie as well. Fujigaya was shown in the footage.

A starting date for Tamamori's drama has also been confirmed to be October 15th. The first preview has been released as well.

A new preview is also available for Tamamori's movie, which you can watch on the official website. The theme song, KisuMai's Saigo no Yappari Kimi can be heard playing, and you can also hear a bit of Tamamori's kansai-ben as well.
